Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Strider Innovations, LLC ("Quint," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Quint at getquint.ai. By using our service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. What We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name and email address through Clerk, our authentication provider. This is used to identify your account and communicate with you.

Context Data: The facts, preferences, projects, and other information you explicitly store in Quint. This is the core content of the service — you choose what goes in, and it exists solely to be retrieved and used on your behalf.

Usage Data: Aggregate metrics such as API call counts and session timestamps. We do not log the content of your AI conversations or what context was retrieved in any given session.

Payment Information: Billing for hosted tiers is handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, or sensitive payment credentials. Quint only receives a Stripe customer ID and basic subscription status.

2. What We Don't Collect

• We do not read the content of your AI conversations.
• We do not track your browsing behavior across the web.
• We do not build advertising profiles or share data with ad networks.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Ever.
• We do not use your context data to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for three purposes only:

• Delivering the service: Storing, retrieving, and serving your context to connected AI tools when you request it.
• Account and billing management: Sending receipts, notifying you of subscription changes, and providing customer support.
• Service improvement: Reviewing aggregate, anonymized usage statistics (e.g., how many API calls were made in a given hour) to improve reliability and performance. This data cannot be tied back to individual users.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your context data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), encrypted at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted in the United States on AWS (us-west-2 region). Data is transmitted over TLS.

Stripe processes and stores all payment data under their own Privacy Policy, which is subject to PCI-DSS compliance standards.

While we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, no system is perfectly secure. We encourage you to export your data regularly as a precaution.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with the following subprocessors to operate Quint. Each provider accesses only the data necessary to perform their function:

• Clerk — Authentication and identity management
• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management
• Supabase — Database storage for context data
• Railway — Application hosting and deployment
• Upstash — Caching layer for performance
• Anthropic API — Used server-side for AI synthesis. Requests are processed in real time; your context data is not retained by Anthropic beyond the duration of a single API call, per their API usage policy.

We do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
• Deleted accounts: Upon account deletion, all personal data and context is purged from our systems within 30 days.
• Billing records: Transaction records are retained for 7 years to comply with tax and legal requirements. These records contain only billing metadata (amount, date, subscription tier) — not your context data.

7. Your Rights

You have meaningful control over your data:

• Export: You can export all of your context data at any time from your account settings.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent.
• Correction: You can update or correct any information stored in your account.

California Residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, email hello@getquint.ai.

EU/EEA Residents (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your personal data, as well as the right to restrict or object to certain processing. Our legal basis for processing is performance of a contract (to deliver the service you signed up for). If you would like a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for your organization, contact us at hello@getquint.ai.

8. Children's Privacy

Quint is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
